Love this flag so much I originally ordered it in the smaller size and then reordered it in this larger size and hung it in the door of the nonprofit I work for. I have loved watching people walk by and taking pictures of it and giving me the thumbs up. I live in Sarasota Florida so this kind of identification and solidarity is really important here.

I've always been a maker.

I've always been a maker. A taker-aparter. You know, just to see how things worked. I was the kid who took apart the toaster to see its guts, but then never got around to putting it back together. Too many other things to investigate.

I went to RISD, majoring in Industrial Design, honing my critical thinking, and my making. Wood shop, metal shop, drawing, 2- and 3- dimensional design principles... my time in school built upon my visceral need to know how things work, how to build them, and of course, how to take them apart.

A lot of the things I've made and sold started out as things I wanted to buy but couldn't find EXACTLY the perfect thing. That's how I ended up designing shirts, but knowing a few people with a garage full of old boxes of shirts that never sold, I didn't like the wasteful aspect. When I found print on demand, it was the best of all worlds.

Now, I make things that I'd want to wear, and love when others get joy out of them too. If there's something you want to buy, but can't find that perfect piece, message me. Maybe we can make something awesome together.
